Presentation Description

This interactive session is targeted towards specifiers and members of the design community to provide education on how KCP&L’s Business Energy Savings Program invests through incentives. We will dive into how the Program can help you sell premium lighting equipment, and help reduce the project costs associated with those products. You will learn how combining the incentive programs with the economics of switching to premium efficiency products will be a win- win. We’ll touch on the evolution of this program for retrofits and new construction, and how KCP&L plans to transform the marketplace. Consider us your resource in energy savings.

Program’s Biography

The KCP&L Business Energy Savings Program exists because of the Missouri Energy Efficiency Investment Act (MEEIA) passed in 2009. KCP&L offers a wide range of incentives designed to help business customers invest in energy-efficient technologies, encourages quality installations and provides a seamless application process. Amie Clarke is a Senior Market Outreach Specialist and works with design professionals and trade allies to support their participation in the program.
